Job Description: Administrator - Inventory Manager

About the Position: Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience managing an inventory. The position will manage the inventory of a Community Pharmacy with around 8000 items, a relatively small inventory that can be trained if required. The successful candidate would inherit established policy and procedure, and best of class inventory management software and systems. The position would report to the pharmacy Retail Manager and relieve them of the day-to-day inventory administration. The position would be supported by an understudy and casual assistants.

This position can be tailored to your experience and skills. We can accommodate an entry level Pharmacy Assistant with the right skills, to an experienced administrator. Attractive remuneration will be offered based on your experience and capability, and you can grow into extra duties and pay relatively quickly.

You will have access to world-class systems to support the administration and management of the pharmacy. You will receive support from our experienced team and have access to ongoing training opportunities.

The job is also customer facing in-store (Retail Point of Sale) in a community pharmacy, with the opportunity to take on administrative/management duties and liaison with a local Head Office, that suits your experience and capability.

Employment Status: Permanent FT or PT for at least 30 hours a week preferred. Opening (0830am) or Closing (6pm) shifts preferred but some school friendly shifts may be negotiated.

About You: The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to relate positively to a diverse range of people. The candidate should also be able to work well in a digital M365 based environment and may have experience in merchandising, rostering, inventory management, customer account management or fulfilling internet sales; or demonstrate capacity to learn these skills with Online Learning and On the Job Training.
