Codral Day & Night Cold & Flu 24 Tablets
Codral Day & Night Cold & Flu tablets help temporarily relieve headaches, fever, body aches & pains, blocked or runny noses, and sore throats. The non-drowsy day tablets provide relief during the day, while the night tablets allow you to rest and recover.
Ingredients:
Day tablets:
Paracetamol 500mg
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg
Night tablets:
Paracetamol 500mg
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg
Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2mg
Usage Directions:
For Adults and Children 12 years and over: Take 2 red (Day) tablets every 4-6 hours and 2 orange (night) tablets at nighttime as necessary. Do not exceed 6 day tablets and 2 night tablets in 24 hours.
Storage:
Store below 30°C.
Warnings:
Incorrect use could be harmful. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. If symptoms persist, talk to your healthcare professional.
- Do not use for children under 12 years, if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, if you have taken paracetamol, if you are taking antidepressants, if blister foil is broken. Does not contain gluten, lactose, or sugar.
- Ask your doctor before use if you have any medical condition or are taking any other medicines, or are a chronic alcohol abuser, or have high blood pressure, or have heart problems, or are pregnant, or breast feeding.
- Unless advised by a doctor, do not take this medicine for more than a few days at a time if you are an adult. Do not give this medicine to children and adolescents for longer than 48 hours at a time.
- Night tablets may cause drowsiness, if drowsy do not drive or operate heavy machinery. Avoid alcohol.
- If symptoms persist, worsen, or if new symptoms appear, stop and see a doctor. Discontinue use and see a doctor at the first sign of any skin reaction or any sign of hypersensitivity.
- Phenylephrine may cause sleeplessness in some people. Keep to the recommended dose. If an overdose is suspected, please contact the poisons information centre (Australia 131126 – NZ- 0800764766) or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed serious liver damage.
