Ingredients:
Each caplet contains Paracetamol 500mg and Caffeine 65mg.
Contains hydroxybenzoates as preservatives.

Usage Directions:
12 years-adult: Take 2 caplets every 4-6 hours with water as required (maximum 8 caplets in 24 hours).

Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol or caffeine or any of the other ingredients, if you are using other medicines containing paracetamol or caffeine, for children under the age of 12 except on medical advice. Do not use if pregnant, except on medical advice. Adults do not take this medicine for more than a few days at a time unless advised by a doctor. Adolescents and children (12-17) do not take this medicine for more than 48 hours at a time unless advised by a doctor.
Do not use if expiry date has passed, if any of the seals on the packaging are broken, until you have read the enclosed leaflet carefully.
Ask a doctor before use: if you have any kidney or liver problems, if you are on warfarin (blood thinning medication). Do not use if you are breastfeeding. Stop and see a doctor immediately if you have an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking this medication.
Keep to the recommended dose. If an overdose is taken or suspected. stop use and ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26. New Zealand 0800 764 766) or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage. Contains hydroxybenzoates as preservatives.
Limit the use of caffeine containing products (including coffee and tea) when taking these caplets. One dose of Panadol extra contains 130mg of caffeine (about 2 cups of instant coffee). Caffeine may cause sleeplessness if taken up to several hours before going to bed.
