OPTIFAST VLCD Mocha Shakes (Pack of 12) are part of a nutritionally complete, very low calorie diet program. They contain all nutrients required for safe and effective weight loss. OPTIFAST VLCD is for the dietary management of obesity and must be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

The OPTIFAST VLCD Program offers a wide range of convenient meal replacements, including shakes, desserts, soups, and bars. Regular light exercise enhances wellbeing and likelihood of success.

Indications & Important Information:

  • Total food replacement for the management of obesity.
  • Indicated for persons with a BMI > 30 or a BMI > 27 with medical complications associated with obesity.
  • OPTIFAST VLCDª Program is for use as part of the management of people who are obese or overweight when there is associated secondary pathology (e.g., non-insulin dependent diabetes, hypertension, osteoarthritis).

Contraindications:

  • Acute cerebrovascular or cardiovascular disease, renal disease, hepatic disease, type 1 diabetes, porphyria, or overt psychosis.
  • Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
  • Not recommended for persons below 18 or above 65 years of age.
