Overview
With its enhanced-delivery system, Voltaren Emulgel is specifically developed to penetrate the skin deeply and offer longer-lasting and faster relief from muscle and joint pain. Voltaren Emulgel contains diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which is clinically proven to reduce inflammation and pain. Voltaren Emulgel also has a soothing, cooling and moisturising effect without a strong odour.
Directions for Use
Adults and children over 12 years: rub the gel gently into the affected area. Apply three or four times each day. The amount you will need will depend on the size of the affected area. Usually an amount ranging in size from a cherry to a walnut will be enough. Use for up to two weeks, if needed.
Ingredients
Active ingredients: Diclofenac Diethylammonium Gel 11.6mg/g equivalent to Diclofenac Sodium 10mg/g (1% w/w)
Contraindications & Cautions
Caution: do not use Voltaren Emulgel if:
- You are allergic to propylene glycol, diclofenac, isopropyl alcohol or any of the active ingredients
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have ever suffered an asthma attack or an allergic reaction after taking aspiring on NSAIDs (including ibuprofen or diclofenac)

Warnings
Do not use Voltaren Emulgel:
On children under 12 years.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, any other anti-inflammatory medicines of pain relievers.
If tube seal is broken or missing.
Stop use and see your doctor immediately if:
You experience an allergic reaction.
While using this product:
Unless a doctor or pharmacist has told you to, do not use this product with other medicines that you are taking regularly.
Avoid contact with eyes.
